... Marketing Incentives
Effective September 1, 2002, we have been granted status as an Enterprise Zone, making businesses located in the Zone eligible for numerous tax incentives. Incentives include enterprise zone tax credit, sales tax refund for business machinery and equipment, sales tax refund for building materials (renovation only), enterprise zone jobs tax credit, enterprise zone property tax credit and community contribution tax credit program. There is also a rural job tax credit in place that provides $1,000 per qualified employee as an incentive to encourage economic expansion. Sebring Regional Airport Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is the only CRA on an airport in the country and provides unique economic development opportunities. The incentives through the CRA cannot be provided by other airports. |
